A Redeemer Is Coming

Let us muse today from Micah 4:1-5:5a and a second point to his message we have entitled the promise of a deliverer. We looked first at a rebuke is committed. Today we turn our attention to a Redeemer is coming. It is here that Micah will deal with our day which is called by most the last days. In these verses God makes four promises to the nation of Israel. The one we want to bring to our attention today is in verses 1-8 and it is the promise of a kingdom. We are told in verse one that this kingdom will be an exalted place. In verse two it is a place where we will learn the ways of God and walk in nothing but his paths. In verse three we find this kingdom will be without wars. In verse four it is a place of great peace and production. In verses 5-8 it seems that we are told that Jerusalem is the city of Zion and will be the capital of this kingdom. It sure makes me want to pray Thy kingdom come.
