A Promised Victory

Let us muse today from Micah 4: 11-13 and one of the four promises made to Israel in his point a redeemer is coming. He has promised them a kingdom, a deliverer and now there is a promised victory. Micah now goes back to the last day. In verse 11 the Gentile nations see Israel as a weak, easy, and conquerable foe. In verse 12 we find they know not the thoughts of God which are good thoughts and not evil to bring about an expected end for Israel. In verse 13 we see the familiar signs of the battle of Armageddon when God will give the Gentile nations as a spoil of  battle to Israel. What a day that will be when the world will know that the Lord God reigns.
