God’s Anger
Let us muse today from Nahum 1:3 and a section I have entitled a prediction of a fall. It is here that we find that not only is God a jealous God but verse two says He is a God of anger. The text says He is slow to anger. We should rejoice in that fact, because His anger produces the display of His great power. It is no telling what havoc He will produced if He was not slow to anger. The text says He has His way in the world-wind. This word is used to describe a hurricane or a tornado. He considers the clouds to be the dust under His feet. Dear Lord, help me to live my life in such a way that You would not show your anger toward me.
