The Holiness Of God

Let us muse today from Habakkuk 1:12 and a section I have  entitled the prophet’s anxiety. In this section Habakkuk has questioned why God would used a wicked nation to bring down the people of God? In the midst of the counsel for anxiety Habakkuk came upon three great truths that helped him with his anxiety and one of them is the holiness of God. Habakkuk reminds us that God is from everlasting a holy God. He lays claims to the fact that he is my God and mine  holy one. He realizes in verse 12 that this is God’s ordained an established purpose  to use this wicked nation to bring down His people. Oh what peace we often forfeit when we don’t see that God plans all things ahead of time.He permits nothing but ordaines all things.
