Habakkuk’s Assignment

Let us  continue to muse today from Habakkuk 2:1-3 and Habakkuk’s assignment. It seems in this chapter God will give Habakkuk 3 assignments. While waiting before the Lord the first of those assignments is write the word. While Habakkuk is in his watchtower the Lord came to him in a vision. The Lord tells Habakkuk not to tarry but write it down plain and simple as it is given to you. The Lord said I’ll give it to you now. Oh how this passage so magnifies the inspiration of Scripture. For the Bible writer God spake and they wrote it down. God used their character, makeup, and thought process to speak His word through them. We have a book that is God breathed and verbally inspired and which is the word of God. Have you read any Word today?
