Pondered God’s Path

Let us muse from Habakkuk 3:3-5 and a section I have entitled the prophet’s adoration. In this section we find Habakkuk praying for God’s plan. I now see that he pondered God’s path. In the pondering of God’s path Habakkuk sees a radiant perception. He begins to lift up God as the holy one. The glory of the Lord is covering the heavens and the earth. The horns or rays are coming out of the hands of the Lord like great rays  of His power. At His feet are coals of the fire of judgment. This to me is certainly a picture of the God that is yet future. It certainly is a picture of a time that God will cover the earth with praise. For us who believe in a literal 1,000 year millennium this produces a strong argument for this position.
