God’s Bounty Made Clear

Let us began to muse today from Zephaniah 3:11-20 in a section I have entitled God’s bounty made clear. In verses 11-13 I see God ‘s bountiful standard for Israel. In verses 11-12 I see a standard of humility. God’s people are finally brought low even to a standard of humility. God says in James that he resists  the proud but gives grace to the humble. In verse 13 I find the standard of holiness among them. They have control over their own tongue. James said if we can control our own tongue you can control the whole body. The text says they will lie down without fear. Surely God has made clear to them the Spirit of adoption whereby they can call Him Abba Father.
