Case Of Cause

Let us muse today from Haggai 1: 5-11 and a section I have called the consideration for rebuilding. We are dealing in our text today with the case for rebuilding. We want to zero in today on the case of cause. It is sad to say most never connect the dots in the area of sowing and reaping, cause and effect. Haggai tells them in verses 5-6 they have sown much but reaped little. He said they never have enough to eat. They take their wages home and put it in bags with holes. In verses 7-11 Haggai challenges them to just get down to the hard work of building God a house. The promise was if they did not in verse 10 there would not be even dew to fall upon the earth and nothing would bring forth fruit. I wonder if in the USA we are experiencing the loss of all because of the place we have given God in the affairs of our lives.
