Remember God’s Peace

Let us muse today from Haggai 2:9 and a section I have entitled the call to remembrance. In our text today I see a call to remember God’s peace. We know this to be yet future  maybe during our Lord’s 1000 year reign on the earth. There is certainly a reference here to the time  of now when Christ dwells in us and we know Him as the peace that passes all understanding. The word peace is the word shalom which means whole or well. When we know this peace we can say with the song writer what ever my lot thou hath taught me to say it is well with my soul.
