Day Of Small Things

Let us muse today from Zechariah 4:8-10 where Zechariah takes a break from his 10 visions to look at his present day. He sees the finishing of the Temple which he says should not be despised as a day of small things. This certainly speaks of the future day when the measuring line will be in the hands of a greater than Zerubbabel who is the Lord Jesus Christ. This greater than Zerubbabel who is our Lord is said to have eyes that run throughout the earth beholding the evil and the good. These eyes see all and know all. This is not a small thing but a thing of great fear that the eyes of my Lord have seen me at my worst as well as at my best.
