The Power Of Character

Let us muse today from Zechariah 10:3-4 and the section I have entitled the character of the king. Today we look at the power of character. In verse three we are told that the king will turn this meek and humble people into a warhorse. Oh do we not see Israel today as a mighty army to be reckoned with. In verse four we are told that which will hold them together is the Messiah. Three times the prophet uses the phrase out of Him. He says He is the corner, telling us Christ is the chief cornerstone. He tells us that He is the nail which is the vital peg that holds the tent up  and in place. He is also the battle bow the subject of the only defensive weapon. If Messiah be on Israel’s side I do not believe I would mess with them.
