The Fellow Wonder

Let us muse today from Zechariah 13:7 and a section I have called the compassion of the king. In this verse we have the fellow wonder. The word fellow used to describe the smitten Shepherd means one united to another by the possessions of a common nature, rights, and privileges. The shepherd who is here killed causing the sheep to be scattered is none other than the Son of God who is the good shepherd,  the great Shepherd, and the Shepherd and Bishop of my soul. He is one and the same with the Father.
