A Look Ahead

Let us muse today from Malachi 1:11-14 and a section I have called the Lord’s announcement. It is in our text today we see Malachi looking ahead. He sees a day when every place the sun rises and set the Gentiles will hold His name in high regard of worship. Malachi knows nothing of Pentecost or the church age but seems to describe it in detail. He tells the Jews you have never seen me in any of your religious rituals and because of that you are cursed in all of your rules and standards. I fear many have placed their standards and rules above Christ likeness and because of that God says cursed are you.
