God’s Contempt

Let us muse today from Malachi 2:8-9 and a section I have called the Lord’s announcement. In this text we find God’s contempt. The Lord compares the Levitical priest with those of Malachi’s day and sees how they have reinterpreted the laws for themselves. When Christ came there were numerous list of interpretations about the law. This was the cause for many to stumble. We have such today which is called legalism. Legalism is when I impose my opinions on someone else as being the rules of God. Preacher if you’re not 100% sure God said it please keep it to yourself. If not it ruins a many a person and you cannot get it back once it has been said.
