The Perception In The Storm

Let us muse today from Mark 6:48 and the person to behold in all storms. Today I turn our attention to the perception of a self effort in our storms. Our text says that He saw them toiling and rowing in their storm. There is no Bible account were anyone ever reached shore by rowing. It speaks of a self effort. In Ezekiel 27 the Bible says the rowers brought them to the midst of the sea and the east wind broke up the ship. In Jonah’s storm they rowed but could not reach shore. Let us today put down our oars and look to Him in our storm.
