The Sufficiency Of Christ’s Love

Let us begin to muse today from I Corinthians 13:4-8 and the sufficiency of Christ’s love. His love never does the minimum but always does more. We are confronted with love’s sufficient qualities in verse 4.I want to look for a few days at the outward qualities. One of these qualities is love suffereth long. It is patient, long fused, and displays forbearance. It waits patiently for the reformation of a brother rather than fly off at them in a rage. It will put up with many rash things said and done. It will continue to love and wait to see the effects of God’s love upon the one who is causing the hurt to them.
