Christ Replacing Love
Let us muse today from I Corinthians 13:1-3 and replace the word charity with Christ. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, have not Christ, I am become as sounding brass or tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, in understanding mysteries and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains and have not Christ I am nothing. Though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor and though I give my body to be burned and have not Christ it profited me nothing. Surely Christ is the love shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost.
