Love’s Final Thought
Let us muse today on a final thought about love. Carl Barth the great German theologian during the time of Hitler decided to take a leave of absence from a position as a college professor. He intended to go to every major coastline in the world, sit for several days, and muse upon God. After several months he returned and his secretary asked what was the greatest thought he had while he was gone about God? He said without exception the greatest thought I had was, Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so.If one knows this great truth in its depths surely the love of God has been shed abroad in their hearts by the Holy Ghost. Please join us as we muse for the next several weeks on Peter’s perception problems and living by sight verses living by faith.
