Worth Of Self

Let us muse again today from Luke 22:33 and Peter’s perception problem. We are looking at Peter’s lack of dependability and the worth of self. It is in this verse that sight living takes center stage. Instead of seeing that he is no match for Satan and the sifter, Peter says Lord I am with you, I will go to prison with you, even into death you can count on  Peter. Oh how a life of sight living will leave us so weak and a perfect meal for the devil who walks about seeking those who walk by sight and not by faith that he might destroy them.
