Redemption By The Precious Blood

Let us muse today from I Peter 1:18-19 and Peter’s precious pictures. We’re looking at the redemption by the precious blood and the impossibility of conversion. In our text Peter speaks of a change in our vain conversation. It is Peter’s way of addressing our total inability to make an effectual change in our lifestyle that would please the Lord. We are told we received this inability from the tradition of our fathers. We received our old nature through the bloodline of our father and it is a nature that is impossible to change.
