Mediation Of The End Of Trials
Let us muse again today from I Peter 1: 9 and Peter’s precious pictures. I am looking at precious trials and the mediation of the end of trials. Peter speaks in our text of receiving the end of our faith. The word received means to be brought into a special position. In this world we have lived in a dependence upon faith, hope, and love. In heaven faith will be no more for it will give way to sight. Hope will be no more it will give way to reality but love will be forever. Our trials should remind us that He has loved us with an everlasting love. The Bible says but God commended His love towards us in that while we were yet sinners He proved His love to us by dying for us.In our dark hour of trials let us look to Calvary for it was there Christ suffered as no man has suffered before or after just for His people whom He loved before time began.
