Fanny Crosby And Trials

Let us muse today from Peter’s precious pictures and precious trials. Today we are looking at Fanny Crosby and trials. She never wrote a blind song though she was blind all her life. One night after service the man who wrote the music for most of her songs asked Fanny how will you know Jesus when you see Him because you have never seen anyone before? She got upset and immediately went to her room and wrote  the words to this song and handed them to him the next morning. The words were I shall know Him, I shall know Him and redeemed by His side I shall stand. I shall know Him, I shall know Him by the prints of the nails in His hand. She could see more by faith being blind than most can see with physical sight.May our Lord inhance our sight to see more of Him in the midst of our trials.
