Operations Of This Precious Faith

Let us muse today from II Peter 1:1-3 and Peter’s precious pictures and precious faith. I want to look today in verses 1-2 at the operation of this precious faith and the mystery of operation. I see in our text a mysterious position in the word righteousness. Our Lord when faith is exercise inputs to us His righteousness. We are declared sinless, justified, holy saints of God in Him. There is also a mysterious power seen in the word grace which means the power and ability to become all He wants us to be. There is also a mysterious practice seen in the word peace. The word means all is well no matter the circumstance. The lady told Elijah’s servant that all was well with her son when he was lying dead on the prophet’s bed. My what a work of faith our Lord does in the heart of the believer.
