Knowledge And Temperance

Let us muse again today from II Peter 1:5-6 Peter’s precious pictures about the promise of divine transformation. Peter tells us if Christ lives in us there will be a transformation that will show forth in the traits of knowledge and temperance. The word knowledge means what is to be known or understood about a subject and it only comes about through revelation. This knowledge will cause us to have the mind of Christ. Temperance is a strong self-control over all passions and desires. The one whom Christ dwells in will not full fill God-given appetites in unholy ways.
