A Comforting Testimony

Let us muse again today from I Peter 2:9 Peter’s precious pictures about the comforting testimony. We are told we must show forth the praises of Him who has called us. The word show means to put on public display. The word praise means loud words of adoration and thanks. The writer of Hebrews tells us it must be done with the lips so that it can be heard and seen. Peter tells us we are to do it because of our effectual call to salvation.
