A Comforting Treasure

Let us muse on a final thought today of Peter’s precious pictures and a comforting treasure in I Peter 2:9. Peter tells us the great treasure of being in the stone is we were once blind and now we can see. We were dead and now we are alive. We were in the darkness and now we are in the light. This causes me to say of Christ our stone, tis so sweet to trust in Jesus just to take Him at His word just to rest upon His promise just to know thus saith the Lord. Jesus, Jesus precious Jesus O for grace to trust Him more. On Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand.
