The Source Of Real Joy

Let us muse today from John 17:14a and the high priestly prayer. On yesterday we discussed being filled with the joy of the Lord. In the prayer today the Lord gives us the source of all joy when He says I have given them Thy word. The Word of God is the source of all true joy. Joy is not found in circumstances but in the Christ of our circumstances. As we read, meditate, and saturate ourselves with the Word of God the joy of the Lord becomes our strength.
