The Sifting Christ

Let us muse again today from the book of Isaiah and the theme Isaiah’s Christ. I want to look in chapter 5 for several days at the subject of the sifting Christ. In this chapter we find the mention of a vineyard and a sifting work. We find several parables in the New Testament where a Father and Son own a vineyard. In these parables we see the Father as the owner and doing a sifting work of perfection in His vineyard by sending His Son. It is most likely our Lord drew His thoughts from this portion of Scripture in Isaiah chapter 5.
