Motley Crew Ruth And Rahab Uriah’s Wife

Let us continue to muse from Isaiah and the theme of Isaiah’s Christ. We are looking at the seedling Christ and the people of the seed as a motley crew. We find in Matthew 1:5-6 the name of Ruth a Moabite of which the law said could not come into the family of God. Rahab who was known as a harlot and Uriah’s wife who was known as an adultery and one who caused a murder is found in the genealogies of Christ. How did they get into the family of God, because grace is greater than all our sins.
