The Supplicating Christ
Let us muse again today from Isaiah 53:7 and the theme of Isaiah’s Christ. We’re looking today at the supplicating Christ and the fact that He is praying for me. His prayers for me were birthed out of a memorable fashion. Our text says He was a slaughtered or gutted lamb yet He never opened His mouth. He was reviled but did not revile back. He committed Himself to the faithful creator. His words were used to pray for me and not to defend Himself. Be careful of the one who must have the last word or a word to promote or defend himself.
