Musing Through Matthew- Hand removal And Hell Going

Let us muse again today from Matthew 5;30 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text today our Lord deals with the removal of the hand is better than going to hell. A right hand or a right eye is no longer of value if they have led us into evil. Do not let us think that our Lord is dealing here with cutting or the mutilation of the body but to the extreme we must go to with that which is causing us to get side tracked in sin. May our desire be that we would say, Lord I love you so much that I am willing to give up all that draws me away from you no matter the cost.
