Musing Through Matthew- Acts Of Kindness

Let us muse again today from Matthew 5:46-47 the theme of Jesus the King. It is in our text today that our King Jesus deals with acts of kindness. We are reminded that anyone can return love for love but it takes a child of God to return love for he evil. Love for love is manlike but love for hate is Christ like. In verse 47 He speaks of a kind good day to a friend or family member is nice but God’s people will show this courtesy to the lowest of people even their enemies. We who are subjects of the King must show ourselves to be like Him in words and deeds.
