Musing Through Matthew-A True Substitute

Let us muse again today from Matthew 8:17 and the theme of Jesus the King. In the word for today we find evidence of a true substitute. Our Lord not only took upon Himself our sins but also bore our sickness, infirmities, and weakness. How could I ever thank Him enough. The prophet Isaiah said it right when he said He bore our sorrows and grief. I am confident that He not only board them but He bore them away.
