Musing Through Matthew- The State Of Our Master

Let us muse again today from Matthew 8:19-20 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text today we find the state of our Master. We are confronted with one who sought to follow the Master. He tells our Lord I’ll follow you anywhere. Our Lord tells him that the foxes have holes, birds have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.  Dare we follow a penniless master who preached a despised doctrine. If this was the state of the Head of our group pray tell what will be the state of His followers?
