Musing Through Matthew- Sins Forgiven WOW

Let us muse again today from Matthew 9:2 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text today we see a story where sins are forgiven and all we can say is wow. In our story four men bring a man sick of the palsy to our Lord. Thank God for those who will spend their lives bringing sinners and introducing them to Jesus. Let me be numbered with this band. I stand amazed that our Lord does not deal with the man’s physical problem of palsy first but his spiritual problem of sin. Our Lord says thy sins be forgiven thee. I noticed sin is in the plural meaning all of them. At Calvary my sin not in part but the whole were nailed to the tree and I bear them no more and my only response is WOW.
