Musing Through Matthew- The Compassionate Christ

Let us muse again today from Matthew 9:36 and the theme of Jesus the King. In our text for today Christ is seen as the compassionate Christ. He looked upon the multitude and saw some things about them. One thing He saw was that they fainted because they were unfed both physically and spiritually. They were unfolded in the fact they were scattered everywhere with no unity among them. They were also unguarded in fact they had no shepherd. It sounds like us today but let us not forget when our Lord saw them He was moved with compassion upon them. He was moved deep within Himself to deep within them. He is an ever compassionate Christ even to this day
