Musing Through Matthew- Royal Family Uncovered

Let us muse again today from Matthew 12:48 and the theme of Jesus the king. In our text today we find the royal family uncovered. Our Lord when interrupted and told His mother and brethren are outside and want to speak to Him, I am amazed at what He does. Our Lord points to His disciples and tells the interrupter these are my mother and brothers. Our Lord says we who are His by new birth are closer to Him than those by physical birth. My what a lofty position we hold.
