Musing Through Matthew- Good Ground Seed

Let us muse again today from Matthew 13:8-9 and the theme of Jesus the king. In our text for today we find the good place seed. In most fields whenever good seeds are sown in good ground there will be a harvest. This field is no different there was fruit in the field some spots 100, some 60, and some thirtyfold. Lord, I may not be a 100 fold field but at least let me be good ground and bring forth thirtyfold. Our Lord ends this section with the statement if you have ears hear this. This doesn’t speak of the ears on the side of the head but the ears of the heart. I bless the day I was given the ears to hear what thus says our Lord.
