Musing Through Matthew- The Time Of Harvest

Let us muse again today from Matthew 13:30 and the theme of Jesus the king. In our text for study today we are confronted with the time of harvest. We are told the Lord of the harvest will send forth His reapers who have sovereign discernment to separate the wheat from the tares. Those who have shown outward signs of Christianity but no inward work of the Spirit will be bundled together. I cannot imagine these fake Christians will be bundled with the most harden sinners. There will be likes with likes and sinners with sinners, and then thrown in the fire. Then the sweetest words that were ever said, the good wheat will be gathered into the Lord of the harvest’s storehouse. What a day that will be.
