The Types Of People

Let us continue to muse from Matthew 13 and the Parable Of The Sower. We have mentioned the four types of soil. Let me point out that each one represents a type of people. The seed sown by the wayside is a spiritually deaf person. Our Lord constantly said n His message ‘He that hath ears let him hear’. The seed sown in the stony place is the superficial hearer. The seed sown in the thorny place is the entangled hearer and the seed sown on the good ground is the faithful hearer. All of these grounds are dependent upon spiritual ears to hear. When God awakens a person from the dead He gives the person ears to hear and understand spiritual things. Recently a dear preacher friend had a man gloriously saved in a service. The young man stood and testitified that that was the best sermon he had ever heard. The preacher told him that that was the first sermon that he had ever heard. I bless the day when God gave me ears to hear what thus saith the Lord.
