If we are to become like Christ it will take a <em>Hallowed Enablement<\/em>.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>In verse 1a we find this Hallowed Enablement will involve <em>a walk of freedom<\/em>.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cThere is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ\u2026\u201d The promise is given to <em>them<\/em>.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>In John 17 the night before Christ died He said, \u201cI pray not for the world but for <em>them<\/em> which thou gavest me.\u201d<span>\u00a0 <\/span>He said in John 10 that He was the good shepherd who gave His life for <em>His sheep<\/em>.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>His mother called Him Jesus because He would save <em>His people<\/em> from their sin.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>I am glad I am one of <em>them<\/em>.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>The text is a promise for now.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>This is the unending perpetual present tense.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>The word \u2018no\u2019 is a double negative, no, no, not anyway, cannot be condemned.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>We are told in our position there is no condemnation.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>This is the sentence of judgment, wrath, and Hell.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>I will never \u2018In Christ\u2019 hear the words, \u2018Depart from me\u2019 but only the words \u2018Come unto me\u2019.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>The only way this freedom is granted is because the sin debt has been paid and I have freedom from sin\u2019s penalty<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us continue today to muse through Romans 8.
