Paul&#8217;s foundation converts would not be our choice for building a church. In Acts 16:14 we find <em>a<\/em> <em>wealthy sinner<\/em>. Lydia a seller of purple is the wealthy lady whom the Lord opened her heart. We can&#8217;t open our own heart, there is no door knob on our side. The second convert in Acts 16 :16-19 is <em>a worthless sinner<\/em>. She is a demon possessed girl, whom Paul cast the devil out of. The third convert is <em>a wicked sinner<\/em>. In Acts 16:30 God saved the jailer and all his family. This motley crew laid the foundation for one of Paul&#8217;s favorite churches. God still saves old sinners.
