I see his <em>tribal connection<\/em> in the phrase, of the tribe of Benjamin. I see his<em> position of connection<\/em> in the phrase Hebrew of the Hebrews.I see his <em>religious connection<\/em> in the word Pharisee. A Pharisee was of the highest religious order. He was blameless according to the law. This was the law and all it 100s of sub points. In verse six we find he hated Christians. He thought himself the chief of saints. For Paul to leave all this will take a sovereign act of God&#8217;s grace.
