In these chapters we find seven churches described. They were the church at <em>Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, <\/em>and<em> Laodicea<\/em>. These were seven local churches of their day. They were individual congregations with their own pastor. They were also pictures of seven church ages down through history. It ends with a description of the church of our day seen in the church of Laodicea. This age of the church ends with a cry from the Lord to His people in Revelation 22:20a, &#8216;Surely, I come quickly&#8217; and then our supposed response in 20b, &#8216;Amen, even so, come quickly Lord Jesus.&#8217;<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us begin these days to muse upon Revelation, Chapters 2 &amp; 3.
