Our relationship with truth and our Bibles is so important if we are to know the blessings of God. Let us begin today to look at the warning about a <em>Casual Observation<\/em> of the Word of God. In verse 22 we find some \u2018attend\u2019 to the Word but are not \u2018affected\u2019 by the Word. The verse says \u2018Be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only\u2019. The word \u2018only\u2019 means merely, casually, haphazardly, and without cautious attention. Oh how often we come to Church or read our Bibles in casual attendance and are little affected thereby.
