The phrase &#8216;lay aside&#8217; has as it&#8217;s roots\u00a0<em>even the fragments<\/em>. It was used of the fragments picked up after the Feeding Of The Five Thousand. We are told to &#8216;lay aside all <em>naughtiness<\/em>&#8216;. The word means any prevalent sins. The least sin when left unattended can fester into a hideous sin.
