We have looked at the fact that Authentic Righteousness involves The Removal of Some Things. Let us see from 1:21 it involves <em>The Receiving Of Some Things<\/em>. The verse deals with the receiving of the logos or the Word of God in its entirety. We are told <em>how we are to receive it<\/em>. James says to receive it with \u2018<em>meekness<\/em>\u2019. The word means with humility, submission, and an open mind. Are you and I willing today to be untaught by God? Let God clear away those things we thought were truth. An expositional verse-by-verse, word-by-word, study of the Bible will often mess up a lot of things that you thought you believed.
