In 18:14b\u00a0the question is asked, &#8216;A wounded spirit who can bear?&#8217; The question is answered in 14a where Solomon said, &#8216;The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity.&#8217; The only way that you can survive a wounded spirit is by having a healthy spirit. One who has a healthy spirit has a strong relationship with his Bible and prayer. In Bible study God talks to you and through prayer you talk to God. It is called fellowship. Proverbs 17:22 Solomon said, &#8216;A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.&#8217; A proper devotional life is the medicine that creates a merry heart that will sustain you and I during the time of a wounded spirit. <\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us muse today from Proverbs 18:14 and 17:22 and the subject of A Wound Sustained.
