It is extremely hard to tell when Paul is praying or when he is talking to the folks at Colossae. It seems he talks so intimately\u00a0with the Lord as he would a very close friend. The only one who prayed more in the Bible than Jesus would be Paul. If these two men felt a dire need to pray, how much more do we. I am reminded of Abraham asking God to spare Sodom. God did not destroy\u00a0Sodom because of the sodomities, but because He could not find a remnant of praying people there. Let us remember the only thing holding back God’s judgment on America is the praying remnant of God’s people. The Washington crowd should thank every little praying group of God’s people, for it is they that holds back his judgment on the USA.
