If you remember from yesterday it is <em>a prayer of thanks<\/em> that Paul prays\u00a0for the church at Colossae. I want to begin today to look at what Paul targeted in this prayer\u00a0of thanks to our God. In verse four\u00a0he gave thanks for <em>their faith<\/em>. The word faith means ones creed of conviction that causes them to relie\u00a0wholly on Christ and maintain a profession of constancy. I thought it interesting\u00a0Paul has not yet visited Colossae, but he has <em>heard<\/em> of their faith. The word heard means to be noised about, reported with understanding that causes it to come into the ears of others. I was wondering any one heard of our faith lately and the hearing of it cause them to erupt into a prayer of thanks unto our God?<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us muse today from Colossians 1:4-5 and the target of Paul&#8217;s prayer.
